No New Posts RULES

You know the drill. You gotta read them before you do anything else. It's a pain in the ass, and if you're experienced, you know a lot of this already. But there are a few things that you might not know, and it's still mandatory. So get to skimming.

No New Posts PLOT INFORMATION

All the information you'll need to know about the Molonov conspiracy lies here. These are like the laws of nature for in-character play. These are just as important as the rules, so yes, another mandatory read.

No New Posts ANNOUNCEMENTS

RR is a new site, so there are going to be a lot of changes going up at first. This is where you can look to stay updated on any and all crucial changes that might be taking place. And even if things aren't changing at a violent pace, there'll be regular announcements at least once a month.

Because the resident application does not ask for your character's history, this board is just that. This is where you can post what you know about your character that your character does not even know about themself. While this isn't mandatory, it is great for character development, and it is highly encouraged. A thread per character, please.

No New Posts DAY TO DAY

It's hard for many of the residents to remember what happened to them even yesterday. Because of this, many of them write down their experiences in journals, which are kept here. Molonov staff are welcome to keep journals as well, if they so desire. A thread per character journal, please.

No New Posts PLOT PAGES

Not mandatory, as they can be a lot of work on the upkeep. But they can also be fun, so if you'd like to post a plot page, you are completely welcome to.

No New Posts SLEEPING QUARTERS

The barracks are really just three giant rooms filled with rows upon rows of cots. The only thing that breaks the endless flow of cots is the pillars that strech up to meet the low cieling to keep it from caving in. The lighting is dim here, even during the day. Cots are arranged by number. If you are laying in a cot, the number to your left will be one higher, and to the right, one lower. Each cot has plastic tub at foot of it, with each resident's necessities stored inside.

The bathrooms at the Molonov Labs are like that of any other building that houses hundreds of people, aside from the fact that these ones are unisexual. There's no seperate bathrooms for the men and the women, because there is no reason to differentiate. To the scientists who run the Labs, everyone is exactly the same, regardless of gender. There are twelve stalls lined up, six against either wall. Same goes for the sinks. Set further back, past the toilet stalls, is a shower stall on either side, protected from view by a thick, waterproof curtain.

No New Posts DINING AREAS - 2 Viewing

The cafeterias are very much like the barracks, in that they are large, dim rooms with low ceilings supported by pillars. The twenty round tables strech off in all directions, surrounded by ten chairs each. Meals are served fresh promptly at 7am, 12pm, and 5pm, but what is leftover gets left behind for any stragglers that might wander in late, or anyone coming back for seconds. Not that the food served here is really worth choking down the first time around.

No New Posts LABORATORIES

This is where the Molonov experiments are directed when it comes time for their "treatment". This is also where the scientists and all their hired hands spend most of their time. Unlike the other rooms, the lab is much more brightly lit, with bright flourescent lights that can catch even the tiniest flaw.

No New Posts SOCIAL HALL

The whole first floor of the Molonov building is merely one gigantic social hall. This hall stretches the whole length of all three barracks (which are above), and is filled with raggedy couches, secondhand board games, bookshelves lined with tattered books, and painfully out-of-date tape players and cassettes. Residents don't really come here for the material, though; there's a sort of comfort in communication with others. After all, misery loves company.

No New Posts GYMNASIUM

For some people, exercising is coping. There's not much equipment in the gym. In fact, there aren't even any basketball hoops. It's just a large, bare room with high ceilings and a squeaky floor. Was it meant to be a gym? Who knows. But it's what the residents use it as.

No New Posts POOL

It's rare that the pool is actually filled; it costs too much for the upkeep of it, and the scientists have more important things to spend their money on. But the pool room remains nonetheless. It's usually quite solitary; good for some alone time.

No New Posts OPEN FIELD

There's absolutely nothing keeping the residents inside the building, or even on the grounds at all. But there's nowhere to run; the taiga streches on for hundreds of miles in every direction. But directly in front of the Molonov building is an open field, that was cleared when the place was built but never utilized. There are a few makeshift benches at the closest edge, but otherwise, it's just grass until grass becomes trees again somewhere in the distance.

No New Posts FOREST

The Molonov building is surrounded by evergreen forest. There's nothing keeping residents in, but the trees are easy to get lost in. Best not wander far.

No New Posts CATACOMBS

More of a terrifying urban legend among residents than something that is considered an actual place, the catacombs are indeed painfully real, and haunted as well. The stories say there is a level to the building below the basement where all the past experiments are stored. This is half true: this is where those deceased experiments are stored, but only until they can be incinerated. Residents don't usually make it past the eerie basement. The catacombs are mostly a darkly playful challenge between staff members: "Bet you can't stay all night in the catacombs!"
