SCIENTISTS
________ KAVANAGH
________ KAVANAGH
Starikovich's twenty-six year old Irish immunologist. Kavanagh specializes in finding and fixing the flaws in the experiments' immune systems, along with trying to find ways to strengthen it. Kavanagh is a big man, built tall and thick like a lumberjack, with a sick sense of humor and absolutely no whisper of remorse. Anything he might be ordered to do, he does in a speedily precise manner. He enjoys administering "discipline" to the residents, and he doubles as a sort of security guard when Starikovich is too busy in the lab to take care of such business. Kavanagh also has the uncanny ability to "seduce" some of the resident girls on the younger end of the spectrum...

________ YATSKAYA
Starikovich's thirty-two year old Russian biochemist hand. His job is to take Kavanagh's discoveries, and apply them to Starikovich's tasks. He is also in charge of properly medicating the Starikovich experiments. There is a rivalry simmering beneath the surface between Yatskaya and his superior, as everything Yatskaya can do, Starikovich can do better. Yatskaya is only in the lab to save time, and thus, is constantly competing to prove his worth. Yatskaya is hiding something, though. After an ongoing affair with one of the residents (Kerimov), he is in love with her, and she is pregnant with his child. He is willing to do anything in his power to keep his secret lover and the child growing in her womb safe from the effects of the experiments, even if it means lying to the computer and putting his job (and his life) on the line.

________ EVANS
Vostrikova's forty-three year old geneticist, molecular biologist, and one bitch of a nurse from the U.S. Evans has the unique job of studying the experimental effects on the residents at a molecular level, and trying to make the building blocks of life that much stronger. Evans is an extremely strong-willed woman, and though she's had a few bitter arguments with Vostrikova because of their equally stubborn ways, a mutual respect has developed between the two of them that is as close to friendship that it can get for these two.

________ FONTANA
Vostrikova's twenty-eight year old Italian biochemist. Fontana's job is to create chemical medication based on Evans' research, to be used on the experiments in regard to Vostrikova's lab's goal. Fontana is the exact opposite of her counterpart, Evans. She is a kind-hearted woman (or, at least, as kind-hearted as a woman can be in such a line of work) who will gladly hold a chat with a resident, or pick up something special for them from civilization without expecting something in return. At the same time, however, she will not sacrifice her work in any act of kindness. She will socialize with residents, but she will not void them from the experiments for any reason. Vostrikova thinks she is weak, and thus, despises her.

________ SLOANE
Oleksei's twenty-eight year old American neuroscientist. Her job is to study the effects of the experiments on the residents' brains as compared to that of an average human's, and report her findings to Takudo. Outwardly, Sloane is a kind woman. She is talkative and gives off an air of geniality. Residents however, have found her to be cold and heartless, with no sense of pity or remorse. Sloane was assigned to Oleksei's lab to be Molonov's eyes, and make sure the young doctor isn't up to anything sneaky.
STATUS: Open
________ TAKUDO
Oleksei's thirty year old Japanese triple-threat genius. Takudo is educated in biochemistry and biophysics, as well as being a certified MD. Takudo's task is to apply Sloane's findings to the human system. Takudo is a favorite of Molonov's because of his intense amounts of knowledge and his willingness to cooperate. Takudo is extremely professional, and will carry out any task that is given to him without a whisper of remorse. It is for this reason Takudo was assigned to Oleksei's lab; he was put in place to keep the soft-hearted man on task, and to relay any suspicious business to Molonov.

SCOUTS
Scouts are Molonov hired hands, ordered to lurk in the major cities of the more developed countries, seeking out people that the head scientist has dubbed "invisibles"---people who no one will miss if they were to suddenly disappear. Scouts must track a person for days before they can be sure a person is an invisible. They have to do background checks, tap phone lines, check incoming and outgoing mail, be sure there's no one at work or school who they are close to. Because of the stealth, patience, and trust levels that the job demands, scouts are intensely screened before Molonov lets them in on the secrets of the labs. While a lot of time is spent outside the labs (and outside the country), the labs are still their base, so they spend an equal amount of time in the building. Also, if a scout makes a mistake, they either have their memory wiped and become a resident, or they are killed on the spot, depending on how angry Molonov is with their slip-up.
________ OLEKSEI
Russia
A former resident, this young woman took the place of the former Russian scout, when her cousin (the young scientist) found her at the labs, proving she hadn't been an invisible in the first place. As part of the agreement, her cousin got a place in Molonov's labs, and she was promoted to Scout status. She knew that her choice was to shut up and take the job, or be killed. She chose survival.

MENIALS
For one reason or another, these residents were promoted to a place of non-experimentation. Starikovich believed his choices had endured enough suffering. Vostrikova developed too much respect for her sole choice to let her keep undergoing tests. Oleksei tends to promote some of the residents he has pity for, usually teenagers and young women.
