Viktor Molonov
[/justify]Viktor Molonov is the mastermind behind the laboratories. To the outside world, he's just a crazy rich Russian man going about his business, deep in the cold wilderness. But of course, the outside world doesn't know what's really going on at the laboratories. No one's to say Viktor isn't a little crazy; he most definitely is. But moreso, he's tightly wrapped in his own laws of science. His scientific laws say that without sickness and death, the world will be perfect. No one will be so impatient, in such a rush to get through with life, and thus, all tensions will work themselves out calmly. He sees a utopia beyond the dark, dreary building that he's blockaded himself into, and nothing is going to stop him from achieving it. All the deaths that the laboratories have seen are only a small price to him. They are just a few lives that were going unnoticed anyway, sacrifices on the way to a perfect world."Perfection. Immortality. They go hand-in-hand with impossibility. These are the only mysteries science has yet to solve. Until now. Viktor Molonov. Remember that name. Burn it into your mind, because that's the name that's going to go down in the history books as the man who discovered how to solve the only puzzle that still plagued humanity: death. When I am through here, there will be no more sickness or mortality plaguing this planet. The losses that we've endured at the laboratories are only a miniscule fraction of the lives that will be preserved through these experiments."

____________ Starikovich
Starikovich is a strict and rigid scientist, hardened by his years in the Russian military when he worked on secret projects to develop biological weapons. He uses his knowledge from this job in reverse for his tasks at the laboratory; his prime focus is to make the human immune system infallible. He is a few years older than Molonov, and he sees the man as his younger brother. He agreed to help him in his experiments before he knew the full extent of what Molonov planned to do, but when he found out, it only made him that much more dedicated to the cause. He thoroughly believes Viktor is doing the right thing and wants to help him in every way possible. There's only one person in the world who intimidates Starikovich, and that person is Vostrikova. He is terrified that she will discover his past work with the military weapons she's so dead-set against. To the residents, Starikovich is the one man you do not want to cross; he is quick to anger and easy to push into violence. He does have a few residents that are on his good side, though. Mostly women. Mostly."I've known Vik since we were children, squabbling over who got the next thin blintz straight from the pan as our mothers cooked them as fast as they could. And here we still are, Molonov and Starikovich, still arguing on every day of the week, but nonetheless supporting each other in all of our endeavors. This plan that Vik has, it's absolute brilliance, and I firmly believe he's going to accomplish that seemingly unachievable goal. But that man is crazy, always off on another tangent. That's why I'm here. I have to pull him back, keep him on task. He's the face of these laboratories, and I'm the backbone."

____________ Vostrikova
If someone thinks Molonov is crazy, then they haven't met Vostrikova. The second scientist to join Molonov's elite group, she is far from in her right mind. She's convinced the whole world is a conspiracy, and she's set to reverse that conspiracy and fix all the corruption she's seen. In the labs, Vostrikova focuses on the genetic makeup of the residents, tracking the genetic markers for diseases and trying to make the humans invincible on a molecular scale. Vostrikova met Molonov through scientific endeavors when their paths crossed. Vostrikova had just been fired from her last position of power, and Molonov opened the laboratory's figurative arms and welcomed her graciously into her own section of the building. "She has promise," Molonov frequently says, a smug smile on his face. To the residents, she appears just as crazy as she is. She doesn't mingle at all, and she is as much an object of fear as Starikovich is, though she despises the man."What's the world coming to? Look around, and what do you see? Fucking male rats digging their claws into industry and dragging the world down into chaos. It's happening, don't you see it? The whole world is falling into hell! It's only a matter of time before someone discovers the ultimate death weapon and threatens to unleash it on the people around them. What are they going to want? Money? Power? Just a fucking thrill? Well, it doesn't matter. Molonov won't let that happen. Bring on your death weapon, bastards. Before you get a chance to use it, we'll have discovered a way to counteract it. And then, your asses will be the only ones NOT to get the supreme antidote that we create. Ha! Watch yourselves die as everyone else around you gains eternal life! Doesn't that suck for you?! Ha, ha!"

____________ Oleksei
Oleksei was the third scientist to be given his own group of experiments. He was brought to the laboratories on a search for his younger cousin, who had been mistakenly picked up as an invisible. Upon realizing that Oleksei was a reknowned scientist and brain surgeon, rather than disposing of him, Molonov sweet-talked the man into joining the team. He agreed, on the condition that his cousin would no longer be tested on at the facility. Molonov accepted these terms, and the girl now works as a scout for the facility, in place of the scout that was fired for picking up a false invisible. Oleksei now has his own place in the lab, experimenting on the brains of the patients to try and make them that much more powerful. Oleksei is the only one of Molonov's elite scientists who seems to have any compassion at all for the residents, and sometimes he genuinely feels guilty for what he's doing. He often converses with them, sharing small talk, but he is under the close watch of Molonov to assure that he doesn't try anything sneaky."Viktor's got quite the project on his hands. I mean, this really is a huge experiment. It's a good thing he's rich, because God only knows how much debt he'd be in otherwise. Of course, that's speaking monetarily. When it comes to human life, he's already pretty deep in the hole. Sometimes I wonder if we're doing the right thing here at the laboratories. What if he doesn't solve the mystery after all? How many lives have we wasted? I really shouldn't think like that. I work here. I should be confident in Molonov's abilities. Right?"
